I was driving to work this morning and was nearly run off the road by another driver, who either wasn’t paying attention or didn’t see the STOP sign in front of them (they ran right through it). I managed to swerve out of the way, and the back=end of my car ended up in the ditch of a nearby cornfield. I thought for sure I would need to be towed out of there, but miraculously I was able to get out of there myself.

I have no idea what happened with the other driver…if he/she bothered to stop or kept on going. I decided to head on to work; no major damage (at least that can be seen) done to my car, other than dirt and leaves getting on it (and I didn’t hit any of the corn)

But it’s left me quite shaken, and I’m actually crying about the whole thing right now, even though it happened nearly an hour ago. My car was already having some issues before this event, but I feel things have gotten a great deal worse since this incident (my engine is making a rattling sound)

Ugh, I can’t stop shaking myself, let alone getting emotional

NaNoWriMo 2017, Day 12

I had a VERY productive day…in terms of everything BUT writing :oP

Ah well. I confess, despite the lack of writing, I’m not too bummed because I really did have a good, productive day in regards to work and home stuff. BUT I AM DETERMINED to finish my chapter update tomorrow! *fingers crossed*
