I’ve been binge-watching S2 and S3 of Broadchurch all weekend long :oP
And while I’m not necessarily saying I ship Ellie and Alec, at the same time I wouldn’t object if they do end up together. That being said, I also just love their chemistry as friends/colleagues
I could go on to remind everyone that the Red Hen in question had zero health department violations in its last inspection in February, while Trump properties have been awash in violations. Mar-a-Lago had over a dozen violations in January 2017 and the DJT Steakhouse at Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas was actually forced to shut down briefly after inspectors found over 50 violations in 2012. But I digress.
But instead of turning into just another partisan shoutfest, something wonderful happened.
On a whim, Amanda Blount decided to turn the event into an action, never suspecting her effort would go viral.
Her tweet was noticed and picked up by James Kasor, who writes for Hill Reporter. Blount told him “I wanted to support the courage of the Red Hen, while spreading a positive voice of hope through the loving gift of food, so I sent out a tweet, and it went viral.”
Canon: There was tension and pining, but they never even kissed.

Canon: one tragically died and the other was screwed over by the writer(s) and turned into a complete OOC version of their former self…
Fanfic: …BUT THEN ONE HALLOWEEN NIGHT when the veil between the land of the dead and the land of living is at it’s thinnest, the spirit of their beloved reached out to them and made contact, reminding them of who they truly are, and the other vowed to travel to the Underworld and bring their beloved back, even if they have to go toe to toe with Hades himself!
Some asshole who wasn’t paying attention and going far too fast hit me from behind, causing me to hit a truck in front of me.
The good news is that I walked away with only bumps and bruises.
The bad news is that my car is pretty much totaled.
But in all seriousness, while I have a nasty bruise across my chest from my seat belt, that seat belt saved my life. So make sure you’re wearing yours!
