That argument the NRA uses when there’s a mass shooting: “We need good people with guns to be present to take down the bad people with guns.”

Well, guess what?  There were armed police officers at
Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School

(aka “good people”), officers who are at the school on a daily basis, and STILL 17 people were killed (and no “good person with a gun” took the “bad person with the gun” out). 

So can we please stop using that excuse and accept the fact that at the end of the day, THE GUN IS WHAT KILLS PEOPLE.
